Konstantinos Sergopoulos

Konstantinos Sergopoulos is an Associate Professor at the Department of Tourism Management of the University of West Attica, a Ph.D. in the Department of Public Administration at Panteion University with a focus on Hotel Management, he has completed postgraduate studies in Tourism Business Management at the Hellenic Open University and has degree in Tourism Business Administration from TEI of Athens.
He has worked for 22 years in the Marriott International hotel chain as head of the Hospitality Department and as a Sales Executive, Marketing and Events Department at the Athens Ledra Marriott hotel and as a Sales Director at the Mage Hotels & Resorts hotel group.
He has taught in post-graduate programs of tourism studies at Universities in Greece and abroad and is a presenter of seminars related to Hotel Management. He has written articles in scientific journals, participated in research activities and is a founding member and Vice-President of DR.AT.TE. (Action for Development of Tourism and Tourism Education).
His research interests focus on the Hotel Industry, mainly in the fields of CRM (Customers Relationship Management), Sales, Rooms Division Management and Information Systems.
