Graduate Categories

Graduates of the first cycle of studies of Higher Educational Institutions of the Greek Federation or similar institutions of foreign countries of related subjects to the subjects of the departments that organize and operate the IHU are eligible for admission to the IHU, preferably, but also graduates of other specializations who wish to become professionally active in businesses and organizations related to tourism and, in particular, innovation and entrepreneurship in tourism and local development. An additional requirement for the selection of students is the adequate knowledge of at least one language other than the language of the MSc. The overall requirements for participation in the MSc and the evaluation criteria and procedures are included in the MSc postgraduate studies Regulation.

The selection of students shall be carried out by the MSc Coordinating Committee and confirmed by the MSc Curriculum Committee (CPC).

Number of admissions

The maximum number of students admitted to the MSc “Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Tourism and Local Development” is set at fifty (50) and the minimum number of students admitted is set at twenty-five (25). Admission announcements may be published throughout the academic year, by decision of the MSc’s Curriculum Committee.

Duration of study

The MSc is a full-time course of study and its duration is set at three (3) academic semesters, with a duration of thirteen (13) weeks of lectures each, and the total number of credits required for the award of the Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) is ninety (90) ECTS.
